Evan Lloyd Morris (2nd Cousin 3x's removed through Richard Jones and Jane Williams) Grandpa Sheppard's line
My story with Evan is amazing. I was just playing around with Puzzilla for the first time and I finally found someone that needed temple work done. I was so excited, but before I was able to get the temple work reserved for me to do, I stepped away from the computer and somehow the web page was closed. I tried searching but couldn't find him anywhere. Then a few weeks later I was showing my sister Adrian how to use puzzilla and I randomly clicked on an ancestor and randomly clicked descendants. For those who are unfamiliar with this process there are literally millions of options to choose so I was just clicking away. Then I saw him. Evan Lloyd Morris. I couldn't believe it. So i knew there must be something to this man. I started researching him because the only information we had was that he died in France at 19. But we didn't have a birth place or why he was in France when his parents were from Wales. Well after some research about him I found he was a part of the Welsh army fighting the Germans in WWI and was killed by a mine called the Red Dragon. It was the largest mine used in the war to that date and several men died. I found a memorial cemetery that had his head stone with his parents, birthplace and death date. I was able to also find a book that had a detailed report of the happenings of the day that mine blew. I really felt inspired to find this man, as all his family work had been done and he doesn't have any direct posterity, or siblings with posterity. I honestly feel I wouldn't have ever found him if it wasn't for the guiding hands and finding him twice was way more than just a coincidence.
